Excursion group 2008 and Madygen badlands, close to the boundary between "Variegated Member" (T3) and "Upper Graycolored Member" (T4) of the Madygen Formation (subdivision of Dobruskina 1995). The transitional zone includes sandstone horizons with large-scale x beds.

From the look of the clothings I suggest, this one was taken at the very beginnings of the 2008 excavations, right? And because Daniel and I are missing, I would say it is one of his (Daniel's) pieces taken during the "warm up"-trip...except Jan and Andreas everyone seems to be looking forward to the coming days and weeks...so naiv. ;)
